Independent technical yacht inspections for buyers, owners and sellers, with the inspection scope agreed in advance.
Pre-purchase inspection
A technical condition inspection can include machinery, electrical systems, propulsion, steering, hull and visible structural areas. Inspection below the waterline can be included when the vessel is available out of the water.
Inspection scope can include
- Engine and engine room
- 12 / 24 / 48 V and 230 V electrical systems
- Batteries, charging and Victron equipment
- Shaft, shaft seal, rudder and propulsion components
- Hull, deck, keel and visible structural areas
- General visual observation of mast and rigging
- Optional sea trial
Written findings
Inspections can be followed by a written report with photographs and findings. Purchase advice can include prioritisation of defects and a practical view of likely repair impact. Pre-sale inspections are also available by agreement.
Note: This is an independent technical yacht inspection service and is not presented as a certified marine survey unless specifically agreed otherwise.
